Because it is important that everyone can use the app easily, illustrations and spoken text support the training.
The app is available free of charge and data is fully secured as part of the personal health environment (PGO) of Gezondheidsmeter (Curavista.health in English).Scientifically proven: General practitioners developed and studied the URinControl app together with patients and healthcare providers.
Scientific research shows that the app is just as effective as and cheaper than regular care provided by a healthcare provider.
In addition, women and caregivers were positive about the use.
Users can still help improve the app by also completing the questionnaire.
This is not mandatory for downloading and using the app.The URinControl app is an initiative of general practitioners and researchers at the University Medical Center Groningen, a non profit organisation.
